It's not trouble, I'm sure if you want and what you want to achieve with it a few 200 series users might be interested. The general discussion or developers forum here might be good for that. As it stands know only you and I really understand what you would like and I am not interested in building either a Gaya compatible or IR remote controlled web interface to the EPG, when Syabas is killing it off in favour of Flashlite. Alternatively you might want to consider the Android control that bgowland is working on.

Hi Martin,
I know you lost interest in developing for the A-200, do you think I should stock up on the A-100 series PCHs given the inevitable device death?

Also, I recall you mentioning tablets at some point. I have just purchased the Asus new tablet transformer, do you know of anything on honeycomb that will stream live TV?

Thanks a lot

I think all NPVR users should consider the A110 at $105 a bargain, just read the posts from users fighting to play digital HD and on their HTPC's, and when they are gone, there might not be an inexpensive replacement. There have already been posts about the 200 series being replaced, vendors are retiring these extenders after a short period so long term planning is very difficult.

Just bought a A110 as a backup to my A100. Works great for me, simple, quiet, cheap (vs any PC client setup) and nothing on the horizon that seems so much better that would work with NPVR. Sometimes need to restart to connect, but mostly OK. Martin's done a great job with mvpmcx2, including setting it up, although I can imagine there will always be a band of less techy users that feel overwhelmed by the challenge to get it working. k.

When it comes to installing mvpmcx2 "less techy" is good, it is the complicated systems with firewalls, multiple subnets, locked down systems etc that cause most of my support problems. If a user avoids reading all the old posts when things were truly experimental, (I think you were the 4th person in the world to see GBPVR on a PCH) and they know enough to configure a tuner card, add an EPG and they can setup a share (needed for a PC client too) they would have the skills to install mvpmcx2.
