Beside the mono audio on the AC3 channel,
No scan results from Config (Win 7)
I have a situation where in Config QAM channel scan returns nothing at all in Windows 7. I can see the QAM signal is pretty strong. I can watch TV from MC v7 and TotalMedia 3.5.
If I import the channels I already have from my XP environment into the gbpvr.db3 file in Windows 7, I can launch gbpvr and tune to different channels to watch TV ok. However, scan from Config always returns nothing at all.
The Config log shows this line repeatedly:
Scanning xx of 90. (Strength: 0. Quality: 0)
"No scan results after startup seconds. Moving on... "
I increased the scan startup seconds in config.xml to like 6 seconds. Still no scan results.
This is perplexing to me. Any clues on the no-signal issue with scan in Config?
Also, although I can still watch TV in Windows 7, gbpvr often does not tune to the right channel for certain channels. Sometimes it'll stay @ the same channel despite I am turning to different channels. Sometimes it seems it's picking up the channel # I last watched from TotalMedia. I wonder if the import using the WizBdaChannelTool doesn't work too well in Windows 7 to update the mySql entries in the db3 file that caused this behavior? Or the problem is somewhere else? It seems the incorrect channel tuning always happens in a certain cluster of channels--some other channels seem to tune fine while others always tune wrong.
