You must have installed Mdapifilter for gbpvr, unfortunately I'v experienced that the installer batfile that comes with Mdapifilter does NOT install for gbpvr if it doed find MediaPortal, so you will have to edit the batfile to install it specifically for gbpvr. Did you set up a cardserver (like NewCS) when you made it work in MP?

I can make it work in the config, but not in the recording service. It might be related with sesion0 in windows 7, since the config runs in sesion1. With a trick I was able to run the config in session0 ( as a service) and it never worked. I was hoping that using proper versions of mdapifilter, newcs and acamd might solve the issue. This is why I was asking about your configuration. I can only hope that the new version of GBPVR will be better suited to windows 7.

Using more than one capturecard with MDAPI and gbpvr has always bee a problem, but if you'll be patient for some more days things will be much more easy to set up. I'm not allowed to say more at this time Smile.

Acamd can read cards on its own. I think however, that newcs does the job much better. At least in my case newcs can read my card (Conax) while acamd fails to read it.

I would definitly recommend you to use NewCS, it's like tmrt says, much better and stable when it comes to read smartcards. I does not consume much memory or cpu, and if you ever should install another capturecard you'll have to use a cardserver, like NewCS. Besides, with a cardserver you can benifit from NPVR's ability to record more than one show with only one card (provided that the tv-channels are broadcasted on the same frequency).
