Since many shows are still broadcast in 4:3, it would be nice if the GBPVR window itself could be switched between 16:9 and 4:3. This could be implemented as part of the F7 function. When you press F7, and select "PillarBox", the window should change to 4:3, and when you select "Remove Letterbox", the window should be 16:9.

GBPVR is the best, and I've tried them all.

what exactly is your issue

you can add your own to the config.xml file
why would you need to change the GBPVR window once it fits the tv
although you can do this in config (i do this cause my tv wont accept the refresh rate i want which means the desktop doesnt fit the screen)
but once set it doesnt need changing cause of the programs you watch
thats done with F7 and custom aspect ratios(if needed)

I think what he means is if he uses GB-PVR in Windowed mode, not filling the screen, he'd like the window shape to change to match the aspect ratio.

That's correct, Johnsonx42, but it isn't a big deal. In windowed mode, if the frame aspect ratio matched the chosen aspect ratio for the video itself, there would be no black bars, and a bit of desktop space would be freed up.
