NPVR: No Live TV display with NMT, PC works fine

When I bring up NPVR on the PCH a-100, Live TV and recording don't work. Screen goes black for 2 seconds then returns to the menu. Live TV and recordings work from the NPVR PC. WinXP pro firewall disabled. mvpmcx2 (date 04/16/2010) is on the hard drive of the PCH. I ran the new NMTInstall2.exe on the NPVR PC. I have GBPVR running on another PC and the NMT works fine with that PC. The NPVR PC is a new winxp install. Do I need to update the mvpmcx2 file on the NMT or change some config files? Attached log and NPVR PC \mvpmc directory.

You absolutely need the newer mvpmcx2 to stream files from the new web server. It should be fine with GBPVR, and the standard NMTInstall will install it.

It's working now. I uploaded the new mvpmcx2 on the PCH and I changed the web server to port 7647 in the N-PVR settings. I think changing the port setting needed to be done because just updating the mvpmcx2 did not work? Thanks for your help......

Changing the NPVR web port is not a good idea, since if you use the correct version of mvpmcx2 it will determine the correct port to use so I think you are not using the correct version of mvpmcx2. There is a new version coming shortly so change your port back 8866 and we can make sure it works.

I put it back to 8866 and did a power cycle on the PC and its working fine now. thank again.
