Graham, can you try the attached version on your setup? I've added a choice of 'volume lines' between master and waveout/application (like the old GBPVR plugin used to have).

There's no config screen, just edit the config.xml file like this:
Code:
<!-- plugin settings can go here -->
<Volume>
    <UseWaveOutVolumeLine>true</UseWaveOutVolumeLine>
</Volume>

Hi McBain

I've tried your modified plugin with the amendments to config.xml without any success I'm sorry to say.

Neither master volume nor npvr application volume adjustments from mixer cause the OSD to display either.

I'm not chasing you for a fix! Just wanted to give you an update for your reference.

Thanks - Graham

Can you attach a log of your tests.

Just to confirm, if you press ctrl-b while watching live tv you get an OSD like the one here?

Hi,
I'm having some similar problem. After I install the plugin and when I press the Hauppauge Remote Volume + or -, I can see the OSD displayed. But I'm not able to adjust the volume. May I know if there are ways to control the volume adjustment?

Do you mean the OSD shows it's changing but the actual volume you hear doesn't change?

Can you post the log?

Just a quick "heads-up" - the Wiki entry for the Volume OSD plugin says that 1.0 is the current version and provides a link to download version 1.0. That might be worth an update when you have the time available.
