No sound after ff/rw

I'm aware of an issue where some video decoders wont play in reverse so when you press rewind it mutes the sound but the video keeps playing forwards at the normal speed.

Not that it really matters (I'm quite happy with skipping instead), but do you know any decoders that DO work? I've been using the default Intervideo ones, and they certainly have the pause/mute-problem. Thing is that Intervideo WinDVD 7 (which I recently bought) reverses beautifully so you'd think that the Intervideo codecs would be ok..
