You do realize that changing favorite -> favourite is going to screw up all those other language translate files --- many many unhappy campers :-)
But it does show that the US spelling is becoming more common, almost interchangeable --- I have a number of friends and business associates in the UK who use both UK and US spelling patterns interchangeably in their emails in the past few years. Comes from hanging around with Yanks too much I guess.

Yeah, I know its a bit of hassle, but I dont let it stop me when I make normal text changes in the various releases, so I'm sure the translations will be updated in no time.

The only word I typically spell the US way is color, but only because I see it in programming languages so often.
Spelt = spelled , it simply said that's funny. I didn't post it as I didn't want to offend anyone, people at times get touchy. and, I think I've pushed my posting limit...
