Season and Episode Info

Some shows seem to get the Season/Episode info correct, some get it some times, and others don't have any Season/Episode numbers? I'm using Schedules Direct. Dora the Explorer has the info sometimes, but not always. Octonauts never has the Season/Episode numbers and just has a date. I have my Plex is setup to read the NextPVR recordings directory, but without the Season/Episode info Plex ignores the files. Is there any settings to make this work better?

Also it would be nice if there was a way to have NextPvr put in empty Season and Episode numbers for things that don't have number. Example for sporting events or news recordings just put in S00E00. At least this way plex would see it and maybe import it.

NextPVR will import whatever season/episode numbers Schedules Direct is supplying. If you've got shows with no season/episode numbers, then Schedules Direct can't be supplying this info for these shows. Unfortunately there is nothing NextPVR can do about that.

Regarding the file naming, using S00E00 would be next to useless, since it's going to lead to a file name clash on the second recording of that show. If the season episode info isn't know, NextPVR generates a filename with the date/time included, so it gets a unique filename.

You might want to have a go with ImageGrabeLite. The latest version would seem to here:http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ite-update. I used it all the time, before I switched to Schedule Direct, to get images and Season/Episode into the file name.
