No Surround sound

Does NVPR support 5.1 audio? I have my system setup as 7.1 and majority of the cable channels I watch are 5.1. Yet I only hear audio from L/R speakers. Does NPVR support surround sound or does it convert to stereo? And yes, Control Panel is set correctly and all speakers work. I use MPC-HC for playing files and it definitely uses all speakers.

What kind of tuner are you using? If you use a tuner that converts the signal the culpit is most likely in the tuner setup.

Yeah, sure - it'll just come down to the decoder you've got selected in the Settings->Decoders screen.
