XML & EPG Sources Initial Setup

Hello,

I tried to install PVR last night and fell at the first hurdle - I can't setup an EPG source to point the PVR at. I've followed the link to the xmltv.org site but it is severely lacking user friendly explanations of what to do.

I have a brand new HP Media Centre with MCE 2005, and I can use that to retrieve program data, but I don't know how to make the PVR use the same source - any pointers?

I'm in the UK and use these following commands:

List Channels

C:\xmltv-0.5.38-win32b\xmltv-0.5.38-win32\xmltv.exe tv_grab_uk_rt --list-channels

Configure

C:\xmltv-0.5.38-win32b\xmltv-0.5.38-win32\xmltv.exe tv_grab_uk_rt --configure

Grab file Where 'C:\xmltv-0.5.38-win32b\listings.xml' is the location and name of the file to be created during the update process (and read by gbpvr)

C:\xmltv-0.5.38-win32b\xmltv-0.5.38-win32\xmltv.exe tv_grab_uk_rt --output C:\xmltv-0.5.38-win32b\listings.xml

I've found it easier to manually configure the configure file rather than mess around in xmltv - especially as you're supposed to recreate it anytime you make changes. PM me and I'll email you my configure file for you to edit in notepad.
