I have been having problems with NPVR crashing when choosing to play a part watched program and choosing to resume. This causes NPVR to stop responding and I have to kill it from the task manager. Did see a previous post that someone had something similar a fixed it by using a different a decoder so installed SAF to give me so more choice but have not solved the problem with the options I have tried. Some times it works some times crashes.

Whilst testing I had 2 successful resumes and then a crash so though this would be a good log capture so have attached them. The program I was testing with is Back in Time for the Factory

Any guidance from deciphering the logs would be much appreciated.

If you create a c:\temp directory, do you get a c:\temp\crash.mdmp when this happens?

seems to be any file, I originaly thought is was only if the PC had been to sleep, but now seems to be most but not all the time

Just tried this with "use legacy NPVR TS Reader and Microsoft Demultiplexer" selected and this seems to have cured the problem and playback starts and gets sound in sync quicker (was taking at least a couple of seconds). Don't know what the differance is in functionalty in using legacy option if any, but all seems to be working.
