ffmpeg -show_analog_tv_tuner_dialog true -f dshow -i video="Conexant Polaris Video Capture" should pop up a tuner

and I was hoping it would just play with

ffplay -f dshow -i video="Conexant Polaris Video Capture"

we probably need the pins from

ffmpeg -list_options true -f dshow -i video="Conexant Polaris Video Capture"

to get it to work.

ffmpeg -show_analog_tv_tuner_dialog true -f dshow -i video="Conexant Polaris Video Capture"
This does pop up a dialog, but doesn't seem to do anything when I click ok. Here is a screenshot.

Anyway, here is the output from
ffmpeg -list_options true -f dshow -i video="Conexant Polaris Video Capture"

Using that dialog you tune the channel you want. If you don't see anything with

ffplay -f dshow -video_size 720x480 -i video="Conexant Polaris Video Capture"

I doubt I can help further. We don't have analog here to test I can only get FM radio working.

Ok, so an update. I gave up trying to get ffmpeg to work, and decided to just downgrade to v4.25. The good news is I got analog TV working with v4. The quality is acceptable, more or less. The main thing I'm wondering now is there seems to be some interlacing due to analog video in the web client. Is there any way to fix that? Again thanks again for your support. I'll be happy to fully utilize v5 once analog support is added, whenever that may be (no rush). Anyway please just let me know if there is anything in can do to fix the interlacing issue in the browser.

The web server for v4 is inferior to v5 so I am not surprised. Better to use a direct play client like NextPVR.exe or Kodi anyway.

If you want the best of both worlds setup your channels on v4 and you can ignore the guide. You can then generate an m3u file which you can import into v5 as IPTV.
