Hi all. New to GB-PVR. It was working fine for me awhile back, but in the last while, i've had nothing but problems - maybe someone can help me with these:

1) On occasion, the info from zap2it doesn't come down and I have no schedule to look through. if i manually update the epg it's ok. this seems to happen once or twice a week.

2) Today i tried to manually record a program and was given 360 copies of the same program in my conflicts folder. I don't know what added this to my conflicts 360 times, but I don't know how to clear the conflicts except one at a time and I don't want to do this 360 times!

3) Sometimes when I have gb-pvr and hauppage wintv2000 (from usb2) open at the same time, it messes up hauppage's wintv and I have to reinstall all the wintv drivers.

4) sometimes some of my recordings don't actually record, while others do - i've double checked all the times and channels and they're correct.

any info would be appreciated.

1) I'm not aware of any issues that could cause this. Possibly you have a firewall stopping the GB-PVR recording service from communicating with zap2it, and only manual updates are working? ISP problems?

2) Find the reproduceable set of steps, tell me them and I'll correct the issue in the next release.

3) I cant think why you'd have to reinstall the drivers. Dont run them both at the same time, or talk to hauppauge about the issue. GB-PVR doesnt change any driver settings, or any files, so it must be something internal to the drivers that doesnt like them being accessed by two processes at once.

4) Next time it happens, send the logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look. Make sure you include info about why you were trying to record (name/channel/start time/end time).

1) Could be you have an error that is preventing guide update from executing, or your machine is not waking up, or it's off, etc. That would be why you can manual-only.
4) I had an issue w/ most recent version and some recordings failing, even though they were on the hard drive. This may not be your problem, though.

Is your system always on? Not suspeded/sleeping?

Thanks for the info guys. In the meantime - can you tell me how to delete the 360 conflicts? I'll try to ask my wife what she did to cause the conflicts to appear and post.

My computer is not set up to go into sleep mode, as far as i know - I'll verify. I do have a firewall, but if that were the problem, i'd suspect that the auto updates would never succeed, and that's not the case - it's only 2ce a week where it stops working.

Can you tell me where i can find the logs?

Not an answer, but to delete 360 entries, if you have Microsoft Access you could delete them from there directly, (quicker highlight and delete)
