You really, really should have taken sub up on his two offers to look at the database. While there is a possibility that this was an orphan, this table is linked to many other tables.

From your sqlite tool I suggest trying

Code:
select * from channel_mapping where channel_oid not in
(select oid from channel)

If that has a row you have more work to do.

OK, I will do that, as although things seem fine, it would be good to know how it happened.
I am still bit confused as to why nextpvr.exe saw the rogue channel, but Kodi Matrix and indeed the NextPVR 5 web app did not.

Anyway, I appreciate your suggestion and have sent a PM to sub containing link to both my original db3 file, and the modified version.
(hopefully the links I sent using onedrive will work)  (first time trying it)

Thanks. That channel was there, but the name had been set to blank, and api used to get the channel list (for kodi and web app etc) would filter out channels with blank names. The nextpvr.exe would show all channels, even if they had a blank name.

I was able to reproduce the problem by editing a channel and setting the name to blank in the web app (caused the channel to disappear in the web app, but was still visible in nextpvr.exe). I'm guessing you managed to do this at some stage with channel 13.

I've made a change for the next release, so that channels will be sent to the web app (and kodi and others), even if the channel name is blank. The channel then showed up in the web app, and it clear to see what was wrong with it, and it was easy to edit the name.
