I've currently got my system working fairly nicely with RF input via a coax cable.

I've bought a SCART to 4-pin s-video + audio phonos cable, and tried hooking it from both my Sky box and my VCR to the card. However, I could find no combination of settings on the 'capture source' config that would work. Can anyone advise?

On a related note - how does having multiple capture sources work? Does it require multiple cards? I can't see how it can work otherwise, but I'm probably missing something.

Thanks in advance

I dont know about the scart cable complication, but normally you just create a capture source set to use the svideo input.

GB-PVR is aware if multiple capture sources are on the same physical device, and will handle the scheduling complications etc.

Did you get them to work on an individual basis?

I have succesfully hooked up a VCR, DVCam and Digital TV, using S-Video input and Line in. (From Scart out).

Only not at the same time.

There are 5 different options in the setup menu (depending on drivers). 2x S-Video and 3xComposite.
Did you try them all? Also in WinTV2000?

Does your SCART Cable have an input/output switch (switch to output).

Good luck,

Exactly and try all five, what every you are plugged into! I think I found composite in working on composite 2 on my card,

Sub,

Is it possible to select a channel, that doesn't have an EPG signal, from within GB PVR. Like Ext. input from the PVR350? Smile
edit. For recording purposes, not live tv.

Chris Cool

Edit2 Figured it out. You can use the record button on the remote, while watching the channel. Logical stuff.

P.S. Nchamp: I used the channel 200 number from winTV, to select the external device.
First configure your PVR350 external input with WinTV2000, select a channel number and use it with GB PVR. Manually add this number to your capture source channel list. Add the channel to your favourites list as well.

You can also select it when making a manual recording.
