Hauppauge PVR150+IR Blaster not working with GBPVR

This is what came in the Retail Box: Hauppauge PVR150+IR Blaster+remote

I have a Dish Network DP301 box, and i am trying to use the IR Blaster that came with the pvr150.

When i try to use the remote to change the channel, IR blaster seems to be emitting the code but nothing happens on the dish box, it stays on the same channel, however it changes the channel on GBPVR which results in static noise.

I have already tried the Fix hauppauge remote options, nothing happens, same results.

any help is appreciated.

Do you have channel changing working from the Hauppauge BlastCfg application? Get it working there first. GB-PVR just reuses these settings.

I had the same issue, I had to actually turn around the IR to face the other direction, it nearly made me mental. I have the same card and receiver, your code should be 307 in the Hauppauge IR Blaster app. Good Luck

solar, code 307 does not works with my box!, i am using some other code. it seems like there are quite a few codes that work with it. if i try to use winTv everything is working fine.

I checked Hauppauge Blastcfg and channels and everything is fine there. i can change channels from there, turn the box on and off.


I am really lost here right now with this problem, i just don't know what to do.

You could try the new HaupBlast.exe in the new release (v0.92.8). Setup you capture source to use the '.exe channel changer' and point it at this executable. However, I suspect it'll probably result in the same thing. Worth a shot though.
