Probably a major version update from 6 to 7 might make you consider not upgrading close to recording time. It was a big redesign of the OTA update process.

Actually I think you might be able to help when you have some time. I don't know for sure with DVB-T but maybe if you select all frequencies then turn on verbose logging (hold control on the main settings screen for the option) and then to a scan and upload the zipped logs we can see what the issue with multi event ids is.

It's no problem if there is a backup to roll back to which I thought I had. Yes I should of checked the old installer was available, I just presumed it would be. If I had checked I'd of waited to have time to image the drive instead and I'd do the same even with a minor update because you never know. It removes the urgency and puts less pressure on for a fix as well. Please don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, I just see room for improvement and offering a simple solution.

Anyway. Here's another set of logs, I've noticed now only the channels on the scanned mux have the full 7 days of data, all the rest have just 24 hours. I think is was about 22000 entries with v6, scanning all muxes with v7 it's 37438 and one mux 9437. So probably about 15000 duplicates.

I didn't know that about the 7 day guide only being on one frequency. I am not in the UK and @Bobins explained only one was necessary.

I checked the logs, do you receive signals from multiple transmitters? I think that the issue is the multiple providers for the same channel SID in the EPG scan. If they are all on the same frequency you might want to try this patch https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid599524 BBC THREE has four.

Is there a bit of confusion here. I meant scanning one frequency gives EPG data for all channels but only the channels broadcast on the frequency used to scan have 7 days of data, all the other channels on the other frequencys get just 1 days data.

Only receive signals from one transmitter. That channel needs 3 presses to navigate. There is a HD version of that channel which doesn't and is included in the frequency used to scan.

I just deleted the NPVR-data folder and set everything up again from scratch but it didn't change anything.

No confusion that was new in information for me.

So if you tried the new .dll and it still fails then sub needs to support multiple providers.  The HD channels have different IDs.
