ok I'm going to reinstall and make sure there isn't a zip file alongside the installer. Will have to wait about 3 hours. That option was there though I enabled it and didn't reinstall afterwards.

If this crash did exist before it must of got worse in this latest release because I'm certain it would of happened before with my usage. I only use the desktop app and manually schedule recording every day.

Will wipe everything and see what happens thanks.

I was updating my post I think there is an extreme memory leak that sub needs to investigate. It isn't just NextPVR.exe it is also UI clients (but these affect the server)

Ok I reinstalled again and that seems to have cleared everything up accept the crash. Thanks. What are the implications of a memory leak, would you recommend downgrading while sub has a chance to look into it?

I thought I'd run a test for myself to see what I see.

#1 Using uiclient.html I scrolled left to right though my 9 channels until I got to Sunday and the mem usage of the npvr server went from 207MB to 790MB. After closing and reopening client, it's now climbed to 1.2GB and holding 5 mins after closing client.
#2 doing same with nextpvr.exe, the client mem goes from 100MB when I first enter EPG to 550MB. returning to menu doesn't free up the mem.

I've left the service running for weeks and never seen it this high so it does look like it's not flushing / deallocating EPG contents.

The memory leak and stack crash really has nothing to do with the EPG I can do it in recordings too. The crash seems to be a around 1.5GB. I've had the service up to 10GB without crashing but I have 64GB so I wasn't going to spend time on it.

when I got back from the store, the mem usage of nextpvr service had dropped back to 250MB so I wasn't patient enough.

Using the NextPVRUI.dll from 7.0.1 I don't see the memory link with NextPVR.exe Oddly it seems to load the new libSkiaSharp.
