Commercial Free?

I am sorry if this question has been answered or not, but I am new on this forum.

I have just completed my Athlon64/1Gig/80G machine with Haupauge 150 card, and it is working so far good using WinTV2K. I have installed GB-PVR, and I am able to make it work to watch live TV.

I want to know if anyone can tell that it can record commercial Free or not. I have not been able to find any definitive answer.

No, it'll always record everything between the start time and end time of the recording.

Record, no. Playback, sort of, with the plugin called "ComSkip".

If I understand correctly, recording has not been ported to Main program yet? I have to use the Extension/Plugin for it correct?

Huh? GB-PVR always does recordings. No plugins do recording.
