White noise when watching TV

Have you tried tha latest ATI driver 6.14.10.82 already? I had the similar problem but this driver solved it.

Unfortunatel - I've already installed Catalyst drivers 6.14.10.6542 from 2005-05-12 and ATI Unified AVStream Driver 6.14.10.82 from 2005-05-06. I really don't know what causes the problem...

My setting is:
latest ATI driver for the Theatrix 550pro, the latest ATI DVD decoder (CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (ATI) this is the choosen decoder in GBPVR without live preview mode. Audio decoder is: CyberLink Audio Decoder. I have tried many different settings and now it is working.
The date of the latest ATI driver is 2005-06-09.

Are you sure? Could you send me those drivers on my e-mail address? I've downloaded Sapphire Theatrix drivers and there is only version 12/07/2004, 6.14.10.36, and currently I use drivers downloaded from ATI homepage - 05/06/2005, 6.14.10.82.

Sorry I have yust reffered to the relase date of the driver. Anyway it is working at me.

Well, it seems that all people in Poland, which I know, can't watch TV on software other that PowerCinema. It is really confusing... Even installing MS Windows MCE didn't help...

I wonder why it is such a big problem?
