Yes, I'm using a crossover cable.

Today I had a hangup so I had to restart by POWER OFF/ON.
Restart didn't ending until I started service MVPMediaSVC.

Then the ugly message if Skip.

Ending Mediamvp via Remote COntrol, ending service MVPMediaSVC and
restarting via Remote COntrol and everything was OK.

How can I find out what firmware I'm using?

When you bootup the MVP it should tell you what Ver your using

Example: Ver1.0
or Ver2.0

Also Code Rev. H Lot # is the latest one.. Though made in China

I have 1.0 Rev E1, I think a very old one because I bougth it a lot of year ago.

E1 was the last new one I got.. I think it has a problem loading more than the D3A and D1 I have. I couldn't get that one to go wireless it just didn't go.
I could try it again as it is my 4th MVP which I trying to do.

It's not my intention to buy a new MediaMVP. The software is to poor and Hauppauge didn't much to make it better.
I'm looking now for a more complete streaming client with functions like a media PC.
