Guys
I recently removed my old SBlaster live card and installed a new sound card with SPDIF OUT. I had just got a new AMP with SPDIF Optical in so I was keen to use this.
Upon firing up GBPVR I noticed the Audio on Live TV and recording playpack was terrible. very distorted at times especially the female voice and when loud events occurd.
I then tried teh music and it plays fine no audio issues. I then tried Real player and the auido is also bad on that too. SOI'm guessing it's an audio codec issues.
Can anyone point me in any direction as to where I can check on the system for parameters that might be effecting the Audio quality. I 99% sure it's only on new recordings that the problem exits. existing recorded files play back fine. It's the new ones and the Live TV that has teh issues.
DVD playback is fine via AC3 and DTS no issues /PCM (thought PowerDVD)
Cheers
Gareth
