I have installed the theater listing and when I bring it up on the gbpvr screen I get the listing screen but everything is empty.  I downloaded the get listing app and it works, the .xml file is at the root of c: - what's wrong here?

By the way - great product - keep up the good work sub!

Thanks!

In the Developer's section you will find the answer to this question about the missing theater info. Essentially, you will need to download a newer version of the plug-in that was corrected by SrChuck. The format of the retrieved data changed so the xml file had to be corrected if I remember correctly.

OK, I see the post and the discussion but I have downloaded the plugin from the plugins page and it's the same as what I already have. Is there somewhere else to get the plugin?

Thanks for the reply!

Here is the link to the plug-in that works with mine.

http://gcm.dnsalias.org/GetTheaterListings-SrChuck.zip

Give that a try and see what happens.

Hello All,

Can anyone tell me specifically which files to copy where to get this theater listing to work?

I can't get it going at all.

I get: ERROR: Could not find file "C:\theaters.xml"

Thanks for your patience!

You have to run the .exe file followed by your zip code.

Eg: c:\>gettheaterlistings 90210

This will create the xml file on the root of C:

My question is, why are some listings not retrieving show-times? I checked the xml file and the times are missing from the Regal Cinema listings.

Thanks in advance!

Daniel
