Help! No sound on playback on media mvp

Lastnight after recording a tv show off cable tv, when I had tried to play it back I got noise static instead of sound during playback? Recorded two other tv shows and none of them had that problem.

Latest version of GBPVR v95.16, xp sp2, Wintvpvr150 9/05 drivers, mediamvp

What do you thing is causing the problem?
