Hi all I am new around here but not new to GBPVR. I actually posted a question on a problem I'm having with the latest release, but I put in the wrong spot and I think the Admin removed it. So, I'm going to repost it here. Any info you could provide will be most welcomed.

If you had the video archive plugin installed, you'll need to delete it from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins. It stops GB-PVR from starting.

Other plugins may also cause problems, so it may be worth moving all the plugin .dll files out of the plugins directory. If things start work again, then add your plugins back in one at a time.

I had to upgrade to the the latest release of GBPVR and I can't get it to work. The program gives an error message that says that GBPVRTray.exe experianced a problem and needs to close. I tried removing the file vsserv from the plugins folder and GBPVR started configuring itself. It hangs up and stops the configuration when the file is rewritten to the plugins folder. What do I need to do to get the program to configure correctly?

Can you zip and attach your logs?

Are you able to start the config app, or does that give the same error?

I had this problem once and it turned out that installing the .NET 2.0 framework over the .NET 1.1 framework had killed it. Re-installing 1.1 fixed it.

I couldn't get Net 1.1 to install on my computer at first and once I did get it on my system the GBPVR program wouldn't install until I found Net 2.0 and installed it.

GB-PVR is not compatible with .net 2.0. You have to have .net 1.1
