Netradio: Icecast support

This was mentioned in another thread, but no real feedback. Is there a plug-in to play Icecast streams in addition to Shoutcast?

If its bit compatible with Icecast, then yes. If not, then no.

What? I don't know, but I doubt that Icecast streams are bit compatible with Shoutcast streams. I can't even figure out how to navigate to the Icecast sites with Netradio to find out.

In my experience, the built-in Net Radio plugin will play any MP3 stream - you just need to create a PLS file with the relevant info. and drop it in your Net Radio folder so it will appear in Favourites.

Right you are. It played both MP3 and OGG Icecast streams just fine. I didn't try the AAC+ streams as I don't want to install the MacCrap on my box, but I assume they will play as well. I had to convert the listen.m3u file to a playlist and put it in the netradio folder. Admittedly kind of a pain in the butt, but oh well. Maybe when I have a little time I can script the process or maybe for a little paypal encouragement, one of you smart people will fix the plug-in. Support open source! Thanks for the help.
