My machine has a PVR-150 and a Nova-t and has been generally stable but I've had two crashes over the last few days that I can't find any info on. The event logs shows the following:
Application error:Faulting application GBPVRRecordingService.exe, version 1.0.2168.28053, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x000111de.
Followed by:
The system has called a custom component and that component has failed and generated an exception. This indicates a problem with the custom component. Notify the developer of this component that a failure has occurred and provide them with the information below.
Component Prog ID: DSODispenser
Method Name: IDispenserDriver::CreateResource
Process Name: GBPVRRecordingService.exe
Exception: C0000005
Address: 0x7C9111DE
Call Stack:
! + 0x7C9111DE
! + 0x77C2C3C9
! + 0x77C2C3E7
! + 0x77C29CD4
! + 0x1B571576
The last time this happened toady the above two event errors start at 12:34 and are then repeated at seemingly random intervals of around 5 minutes until I noticed and rebooted the machine. Selecting 'Don't Send' from the alert screen just causes another alert to pop up and it seems a reboot is the quickest way to sort it - especially when the other half is moaning that it's not recording the Commonwealth Games!
It was recording at the time but it had started earlier, at 12 I think.
The machine is a P4 3.0 GHz with 1 GB RAM running XP SP2, GBPVR and very little else.
The logs are also attached, any help will be very much appreciated.
