Will this software work with directv?

Yes, you should be able to use a supported capture card (Hauppauge PVR150, ATI 550 Pro etc) to capture video from set top directv box.

I am such a newby when it comes to this. I installed the program and tried to run the config program and I cant get it to do anyhting. Anybody want to help me?
