You put the correct channel number for your STB though right? The channel they broadcast on varies depending on the box. The channel '3' I've shown in the screenshot is only an example.

Can you post a screenshot of this error? I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about.

Picbois you asked a few questions I'll try to answer one by one.

You have the Hauppauge PVR150 model 1062. As mentioned earlier in this thread, that does not have "built in support for the IR blaster or remote included with that specific package, but I think can be made to work with the addition of the free HIP software."

However other PVR150 models do work out of the box with GBPVR. For instance the model 1045 does. This is the one I have.

I do the same thing in my setup. The config screen below shows this.

This PVR150 model works with GBPVR perfectly. HIP is not required and I have never used HIP. Much to complicated for me. I like to keep things simple.

Video Quality Issue you mention.

A. No - I use the 2.0.24.23025 PVR150 drivers. For software
MPEG-2 Playback I have selected the INTERVIDEO NonCSS Video Coder in the config utility.

Now I'll return to my main point.

Why not return that PVR150 you have (say it dosen't work or what ever excuse they will believe) and get the PVR150 1045 model available from Futureshop.ca or Bestbuy.ca or Staples.ca when on sale for $99, and save yourself all these problems.
