martynw Wrote:Sub, just a quick note to say that I think I've fixed this now - I think that an "empty" postprocessing.bat was causing the problem.

Under the previous version I used the "renamerecording" utility via postprocessing.bat to rename recordings with the episode title. Before I upgraded I removed it from postprocessing.bat as I knew that it wasn't compatible with the new sql db, which left an empty file.

I've now deleted the postprocessing.bat file completely and the problem has gone away. Re-creating an empty postprocessing.bat file causes the problem to re-appear.

Thanks,

Martyn
Thats bizarre, but you're correct - I just checked it now.

It seemed to be a difference in behaviour between .NET 1.1 and .NET 2.0. I've protected against problem this for the next release.

I've added a note to the survival guide letting people know this can happen if you have an empty PostProcessing.bat/ParallelProcessing.bat/UpdateEpg.bat/PostUpdateEpg.bat file.
