Has anyone else tried this motherboard? I installed GB-PVR on clean Windows XP Pro installation and it just won't run. It says that GB-PVR had to close. The specs are as follows:

ECS PM800-M2 Motherboard
P4 2.4ghz, 533mhz FSB
Tried 256MB Ram, and 768MB Ram
Happauge WinTV PVR-150 (not MCE)
80GB Maxtor Hard Drive
Windows XP Professional, SP2

I did install the .Net 2.0, as well as other updates.

welcome to the forum!

I wouldn;t worry about what mobo you currently have but instead look at the log files in the gbpvr folder. These will contain useful info about why gbpvr has closed down. In particular look at GBPVR.exe-native.log and GBPVR.exe.log and post any errors back here for further help.

Does the pvr-150 work with the supplied wintv2000 software?

You need 512MB min to run gbpvr ok.

btw: don't worry about errors like
25/05/2006 23:33:25.812 ERROR [1] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="MenuType"]

good luck

Thanks for the welcome, and the advice. I will take a look and report back what I find!

I'm new to the PVR stuff, and would really like to get this working.
