In XP you can highlight all the files and then right click and "Send To" compressed file. The compressed file is what you need to attache to your reply.

The only log that actually shows an attempt to use the device (gbpvr.exe.log and gbpvr.exe-native-3.log) shows it appearing to work. It correctly finds and uses a PVR2 USB2. If it didnt appear to work sitting in front of it, what exactly did you see?

I'm not concerned that the config app cant auto detect which device this is.

That did not seem to be the case in that specific log. You can reproduce the problem, then post a screenshot of the error message and also attach your gbpvr.exe.log and gbpvr.exe-native.log at the same time?

ok heres wht i did, I uninstalled gb and the happauge drivers and rebooted, did the hwclear thing and installed drivers from the happauge cd(old drivers) reinstalled gbpvr and ran wintv 2000 to see if I got live tv and on channel 3 it displayed the channel on my satellite box, oh btw I have my dishnetwork satellite box connected to my pc and its not cable.I updated the epg in gb with zap2it and clicked on live tv, now i dont get any error message but all I see is a black fuzzy screen with no video, I cant figure out whats wrong, I even went to the guide in gb and tried changing channels, nothing happened.

i dunno if this matters or not but I dont have intervideo windvd or any dvd playing software installed, I dont see why it should matter as live tv works fine in wintv2000

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.
