Yeah, i have DirectX9c installed, plus Device Manager shows the hauppauge device as working correctly, even though Config.Native.log says it cant find those same devices?

Quote:17:00:47.421 ERROR CoCreateInstance(CLSID_DVBTuningSpace) failedYeah, something significant is missing from TinyXP. It cant find the DVB tuning spaces. I'm not sure exactly what you'd need to add to correct this.

Thanks SniperDude, ive had a read through the forum, im not sure what i need though? I dont think TSReader is going to help is it?
having googled i found this: http://windowssdk.msdn.microsoft.com/en-...87819.aspx but this is way above my head im afraid! Sub, is this fixable, with some more digging? Or would it be better to try either a fresh install of regular windows, or a custom nLite install?

Quote:Sub, is this fixable, with some more digging? Or would it be better to try either a fresh install of regular windows, or a custom nLite install? To be honest, I have no idea. A regular Windows install normally has the tuning spaces COM components, and associated registry entries, already present. I'm not sure if there is some other software you can install to add these into your TinyXP installation.

Thanks Sub. I think its nigh on impossible to add these components.
However there are many different revisions of this, and the following forums are where eXPerience lurks: http://www.retestrak.nl/Board/index.php? you must register to even view threads, but they are very active. I'll try a few other revisions when i can and advise which (if any!) work.
If anyone is interested the only version i got to work with Hauppague Win 2000 is the Platinum edition, torrent link below.
http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3425927/Tiny...eXPerience Stu EDIT: Its hardly tiny nor fast and comes full of hundreds of apps! This kind of defeats the object! So i doubt ill use it. Its more of a 'complete' easy install. never mind! |
