Heyas, so I'm getting this horizontal rainbow static (see attached pic). Its behavior is VERY STRANGE.
- The static doesn't show up on computer desktop until I run GBPVR.
- The static doesn't show up during the OSD before I go into video playback or Live TV
- Once I start Live TV or recorded video playback, the static fluctuates between minimally present to extreme distortion.
- The longer I watch TV or playback, the distortion can become so extreme that it washes out most of the picture - during these moments it is accompanied by audio distortion as well (this is what hints to me that it is not the video card).
Here's where is starts getting wierd:
- When I turn off GBPVR, the static continues, for a while, then eventually dies out.
- I took a screenshot of the screen during static but the static didn't show up in the screenshot file, HOWEVER, when I pasted the screenshot into Paint Shop Pro, the static showed up over the screenshot but not the rest of the screen (I mean that the static was in motion, not captured like in a screenshot). This part baffles me and makes me feel a little bit crazy and so defies anything I know about video that I was even reluctant to post it.
