Dear Sub,
I've come across some strange scanning issues with the Terratec dual-tuner card. Channel scanning seems to be a hit-or miss issue, even with the latest drivers from Terratec (1.0.3.260 -- supposed to clean up some issues in Germany).
Strangely enough, both Terratec's own application as well as Microsoft Vista's (RC1 5600) Media Center application are able to scan perfectly and reliably with these BDA drivers.
The scan is unreliable in that sometimes I get the channel names found reliably, but often the names are missing (Unknown1-x) or channels in a bouquet are missed. It seems to be that the problem exists at bouquet level in that I never get partially okay scans -- either the bouquet is okay or trouble.
I have uploaded the files -- scan-1 is a bad scan, scan-2 is what it should look like, and the setup log file.
Thanks!
