I am not aware of a function to rebuild existing recording, Sub may have an idea when he comes to this post.

They are still working video files, you can move the to where your video library is located and then view then from there via GBPVR.

The video library does not have a delete feature, so for now you will have to delete them by hand.

If you have MS Access, you can open the .mdb file and see if anything needs changing based on your rejig of the setup.

yep i believe the paths/filenames of the files are stored in the RECORDING_SCHEDULE table.

Using MS-Access:
The table PROGRAMME contains info on the dates/cannels etc of recorded programs (as per your progam guide)
The table RECORDING_SCHEDULE holds info on recordings (both scheduled and stored).

I have found that by:
1. Stopping the gb-pvr service
2. Moving the files to another directory
3. Chaning the RECORDING_SCEDULE table to reflect the path in 2 (I am using \\server\videoshare\.. for storage, but not recording)
4 Closing Access (and saving the changes)
5 Restarting the service

I am able to keep my recorded shows in a different location from where they are initially recorded.

The order 1-5 is important - moving the files without stopping the service deletes the entries in the table. You will then have to get the index-nuber from the PROGRAMME table and fill in new entries in the RECORDING_SCHEDULE table (after stopping the service of course [Image: smile.gif]
