OK. Thanks for the taking the time to look at this Sub. Frustrating that I can't get this to work on what is clearly the best decoder from all other perspectives - looks like I'm left with a trade-off between:
1) using overlay/purevideo and binning livetv ie turning off preview mode
2) using overlay/other decoder (what are you using btw?)
3) using VMR9 custom/purevideo and putting up with the tearing problem!
