IRBlaster: USB-UIRT?

I've just splashed out on Sky (uk) due to be installed tomorrow!

Obviously I want to hook this up to GBPVR and so need a irblaster to change channels.

I've been looking at the usb-uirt, and all looks good.

Does anyone one have any reports on this (pros/cons/problems/issues)?
Are there any other products I should be looking at?

I would like to second this question. I was also thinking about buying the usb-UIRT IR Blaster. Does anyone use it for GBPVR? I read the HIP guide and I'm a little confused. I think that it said that I can use this IR Blaster with my regular universal TV remote, to control GBPVR. Is this correct? I also dont need to have wxpmce right? :confused:
