hi,

i'm trying out the tv guide feature w/ zap2it. i can search most programs. however, when i type in 'usc' or 'ucla'...it doesn't bring up anything. when i type 'college football'...it'll bring me a list of this week's fb games and i can see usc and usc game listed. does this mean that the game might not be available in my area?

No, it means that the Program Search function keys off of Title information and not Subtitle information.

I run into this all the time with NCAA basketball coverage. zap2it titles all the games "College Basketball" and puts the participants in the subtitle field.

I don't know if anybody has asked for program search to be extended to subtitles, but you might try searching around the forae especially the 'feature request' area.

or try the EWA [web interface] as it does let you specify subtitles in search..
[and a couple of plugins offer this]
Hardware: HDHR Prime, HDPVR 1212, Raspberry pi2, VFD display w/LCDSmartie

i think this could be achieved w/ a plugin to gbpvr. just a broader search. any programmers out there? mr. gb himself?
