Hello. I'm trying to register a later Cyberlink Mux however permission is denied.
Read the Wiki entry and think that I'm going about this correctly. Copied MpgMux.ax into c:\windows\system32 un-registered existing Cyberlink Mux, ensured that no other programs are running but permission to paste later Cyberlink Mux is denied. Where am I going wrong?.

regsvr32 /u MpgMux.ax - Unregisters o.k.
regsvr32 / MpgMux.ax - Re-registers o.k.

Downloaded and installed Cyberlink Mux VERSION: 5.0.2022 from Animation Technologies Inc. The download (for one of their DVB-T Receivers) registers Cyberlink Mux however am not using one of their DVB-T Receivers therefore want to un-install the drivers that were downloaded. Guess that un-installing will unregister Cyberlink Mux VERSION: 5.0.2022 however am not 100% sure. Can anyone confirm this please?.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You dont need to put it in c:\windows\system32. You can put it anywhere you want.

Hello Sub, Thank you. Does GB-PVR automatically use the most recent Cyberlink Mux where there are two installed?. Any idea's why I'm unable to delete the previous Cyberlink Mux from c:\windows\system32 as I'd prefer to install and register the later version in the same directory?.

I've tried Intervideo and Cyberlink muxes and one seems to result in very blocky video playback. Need to determine which one is causing the problem however wanted to ask which mux you recommend (if any)?.

Edit: Stopped two GB-PVR Processes. Deleted the previous version of Cyberlink Mux, copied most recent one into c:\windows\system32 and registered accordingly. (Realise you've said that muxes don't need to be copied into c:\windows\system32 however prefer to put them there to keep things tidy).

Best Regards.

It'll always use the first one listed in Mux Checker.

I wouldnt use the Intervideo mux - its crap. I'm using the Cyberlink mux v5.0.0.1307 and I'm happy with it.

Hi Sub,

Thank you for your reply. Cannot remember whether or not its Cyberlink Mux or Intervideo Mux that I've had poor quality pictures on however I'm not pleased with Cyberlink Mux v5.0.2022. Could you please be kind enough to advise where I can download Cyberlink Mux v5.0.0.1307 that you're using?.

Thank you.
