Hi Guys,

I'm new to GB-PVR, just moved over from Media Portal... I wish I had found this beofre, much more stable so far, and all the veatures i need (dvd, videos, cd, audio, live tv... all this extendable via network with the tuners in only one place... perfect)...

anyways, the main HTPC in my setup is in an Origen X15e case, and this case comes with a remote, supposedly MCE compatible (yes, it has the "windows MCE logo button")... The remote uses IRTrans software. Has anyone interfaced it to GBPVR? Some keys (like arrows) work, but they work as arrows outside of GBPVR. I dont know how to get it to recognize all the keys correctly... I have even tried HIP but couldnt set it up correctly I think, as it didnt work at all...

EDIT: A bit more digging through the GBPVR site... It seems that this is the remote: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/uploads/Main/MS-...eanbag.jpg , but mine didnt come with the IR reciever, it recieves through a IR eye in the case, and has irtrans already started in the OS... it loaded up with the drivers... Any ideas about how to proceed? Thanks! According to this: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardware/MCERemotes it is a MCE 2005 remote version 2

thanks for any and all input!

In the config app, have you tried setting the Remote type to MCE Remote?

Yeah... it doesnt work... Regular keys that work in all apps work (like enter, right, left, etc) but extra keys like "Back", "Play", "Pause" etc dont work... Makes it almost impossible to use...
