I have a TechiSat DVB-PC TV Star card getting over the air HD signals in the US. I have added a BDA recording source, but am unsure what to select for "device type" and "region/transmitter". Can anyone help? Thanks.

If your device isnt listed when you tick the 'only show devices detected in this machine', then you're the first person to have tried to use this device with GB-PVR, and (assuming it has BDA driver) will need to add a new section to bda.ini for your card. A summary is here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...aptureCard

Once you've selected your card, and its type is DVB-S, region will only give you one option, transmitter will show the list of satellites - you need to select the satellite you'll be using.

I'm a bit confused by what you mean. You cant use a DVB-S card for receiving the over the air HD ATSC used in the US. You'd need an OTA ATSC card for that.
