Hello,
I have installed the GBPVR 1.4.7 Version and have also adjust the "Recording Source" with TechniSat SkyStar HD2, when I press "Map Digital Channels to EPG.." I get the message that the Msgbox "GB-PVR was unable to start BDA-Device ....and not already in use" ??

The DVBViewer found the TechniSat SkyStar HD2-> TechniSat Mantis DVBS BDA Receiver !

what can I do ???

Run the filtercheck.exe in the gbpvr directory, then post the filtercheck.log that gets created and I'll take a look.

Which card type did you select when yuou setup your capture source? You should have chosen 'TechniSat SkyStar HD2 type2'.

If you dont have that option listed, add the following to you bda.ini file:

[TechniSat SkyStar HD2 type2]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
ONLY_SCAN_ON_LOCK=1
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=TechniSat Mantis DVBS BDA Receiver
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Hit the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button to reproduce the error, then post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

...I've attached my log files

They were obtained as requested by Sub on a virgin 1.4.7 install on a Vista 64 system, fully up-to-date with M$ patches etc.
Skystar HD2 driver v1.3 from 13.07.2009

I'd love to ditch VMC for MP. I really hope we can find a workaround for this.

Thanks in advance for all the good work!
