DVD playback problems

I just installed gbprv and I can't get DVD's to play. The first time it played once, with an annoying flashing band of blue at the bottom. Interactual player asked to install itself. Doesn't work anymore....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What DVD audio and video decoders have you specified on the DVD tab of the config app?

Ok, I re-installed my Sony DVD drivers and now it plays.... but... there is still a flashing bar across the bottom of the screen.

To answer your question, Default for all.

'system default' is generally a bad idea. You'd be much better off by explicitly picking a compatible video/audio decoder that is listed. If you dont have anything other than 'system default' listed, then this is a pretty good sign you dont have a known compatible driver installed.
