Thank you bgowland! It seems VS Express isn't as bad as I initially thought.

I'm using a file "MyProjectName.csproj.user" as follows to tell Visual Studio Express to start the debugger on gbpvr (details).

Code:
<Project xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003">
<PropertyGroup Condition=" '$(Configuration)|$(Platform)' == 'Debug|AnyCPU' ">
    <StartAction>Program</StartAction>
    <StartProgram>C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe</StartProgram>
  </PropertyGroup>
</Project>

Is there an easier way?

The real world is full of silly things like Visual Studio copying things behind your back. Smile

You're welcome. I actually think the Express editions are a lot better than they could have been considering they're free.

It doesn't look like it from what I can see. I have to admit I've never tried debugging through gbpvr in the way you describe. For the one plugin I've written I just made sure I copied the .pdb file to the plugins folder and made sure my code had lots of verbose logging. Kinda the 'brute force and ignorance' approach to debugging. Big Grin

Cheers,
Brian
