Adding capture source in config.xml?

Just installed gbpvr 1.4.7. When trying to save options in config.exe, the program hangs. I was able to make some changes directly to config.xml. What tags do I put in to add a capture source directly to config.xml?

How long is the hang? It can hang for a few seconds depending on the number of channels and the amount of EPG data you have. Capture sources can't be added to config.xml, they are saved in the database. When making changes to config.xml, did you use notepad? Wordpad will corrupt it.

Just changing something as simple as the skin, it hangs for 5-15 minutes until I give up and close it. Not adding any EPG data. Just want manual way to add capture source wherever it should go. Yes, I used notepad.

I have looked at the logs and it ain't clear to me what's up. It may be that the quickest way from where you are to where you wanna be is to start again.

Uninstall GBPVR, delete the devnz folder in program files and then re-install.

When you run the config app, does it prompt you to 'run as administrator'? (assuming you're on Vista or Win7)

Uninstalled, reinstalled, same error and the new logs are attached. No, I already run as admin so no prompt. Reall, need something quick as I want to test this TV tuner before deciding whether to return it if I can't use it.
