Question regarding choppy playback

Looks like I'm missing an audio decompressor. Anyone?

have you explicitly set the video and audio codecs in the playback tab (as opposed to leaving them at default)

Well, during the updates, I somehow ended up with an old ATI decoder. Installed a newer one (Cyberlink) from the DVD decoder, and it's working now.
