Does anyone have this working with GBPVR? Does it work well?

They seem to offer 2 versions, a base model and one with an additional 56 KHz IR sensor. What's the purpose of this additional sensor (other than costing $5 )?

According to sub they work great. Mine's on order so I will post results when I get it.

The additional sensor, I believe, allows reception in a higher frequency range. In other words it will read and learn a wider variety of remote controls.
