I have been using my Dvico FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus and it's native program for a year or so and finally decided to upgrade to some better software. I installed both MediaPortal and GB-PVR and had an immediate preference for GB-PVR. However I'm having a few difficulties with my Dvico.

Under BDA Device Config if I check the 'Only show devices detected on this machine' I get 'FusionHDTV5 RT Gold (ATSC)' Fiddleing around with that I manged to get an EPG up an running and scan some channels. I have the same problem I've seen other users have that I can only scan the last channel i watched in the Dvico native software, however, I can also only watch the last channel through GB-PVR! And if i reset the computer and run GB-PVR then i just get a whole lot of blank channels until i run the Dvico native software, then i get one Sad

Back to the drawing board I had a look through the forums and found the problem I'd had above. I got onto on Graphedit and changed my BDA.ini

[Dvico Fusion DVB-T PLUS]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner1
FILTER_CAPTURE=FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture1
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

As it turns out this is the same as the FusionHDTV5 RT Gold (ATSC) except for the tuning type being ATSC vice DVB-T.

Unfortunately with the BDA device set to my new Dvico Fusion DVB-T PLUS setting I still get a whole lot of nothing. If i try to 'Map digital channels...' It comes up with the error 'GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device... check the config...' And If I try to run Live TV it simply fades to black for a second then returns to the main menu. At least with the ATSC i get one channel... sort of!

Any help? I'm In Australia btw. Thanks in Advance!

If you get this then your bda.ini settings arent correct. Can you run filtercheck then zip and attach the filtercheck.log? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Hit the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Its a bit hard to tell looking at your logs, but it looks like you've either currently got it set as a ATSC device in bda.ini, or previously tried scanning with an ATSC device selected.

Try deleting any .cache files in the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\bda directory, then try again.

Brilliant!

Nothing at all in my c:\program files\devnz folder, but I deleted the scan1.cache in c:\program files\gbpvr\bda and it's currently scanning and it's picked up 80% of the channels so far!

Thanks very much!

Had GB-PVR 1.0.16 running sweet on my HTPC for over a month, tried to update to 1.1.5 and it's all gone bad.

I lost my live TV and couldn't re-scan channels anymore.

I have tried every combination of uninstalling and re-installing 1.0.16, 1.1.5, .net 2 and microsoft runtime with no luck.

Now when I load the config and try to 'map digital channels' I get a couple of errors - "Fatal Error - installation corrupt - please re-install NERO" and then it seems to start scanning but seconds later I get an "aplication error" and GBPVR config quits.

Logs attached, any help appreciated!

Cheers
